Oh no! There's only a few days left until the supposed end of the world!
Although any rational person will realize that the world isn't going to end on December 21st, it's as good an excuse as any to sit back and enjoy some post-apocalyptic cinema. For your viewing pleasure we have the 80s cult classic NIGHT OF THE COMET along with THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (the original adaptation of I Am Legend featuring the one and only Vincent Price - the colorized version in this case) and if you're looking for something a little more epic check out the 6 hour adaptation of Stephen King's THE STAND.
NIGHT OF THE COMET: "A comet wipes out most of life on Earth, leaving two Valley Girls to fight the evil types who survive"
THE LAST MAN ON EARTH: "When a disease turns all of humanity into the living dead, the last man on earth becomes a reluctant vampire hunter"
THE STAND: "After the world is devastated by a man-made plague, a battle of literally Biblical proportions ensues between the survivors"
